For water level and depth measurement, no application is the same in surface and groundwater. OTT Hydromet offers a variety of sensors with different measurement principles, tailored to fit the specific requirements of different hydrologic measurement sites, including bubbler, pressure sensor, and radar. Multiple telemetry options pair with our sensors to ensure data and alerts are received from your office.
Non-Contact Measurement
OTT Hydromet offers two water level sensors for non-contact surface water measurements.
Both are easy to install, have low maintenance requirements, can connect to most dataloggers, and provide reliable, accurate data. However each product works best in different water level applications.

OTT RLS - Radar Level Sensor
- A non-contact, water level sensor using pulse radar technology, either installed on a bridge or a mounting arm
- Ideal for monitoring streams, rivers and tidal zones prone to flooding, sediment/debris laden waters, or migrating channels.

OTT CBS - Compact Bubbler Sensor
- Ideal for monitoring continuous water level networks, lightning prone areas, channels with long, flat embankments in rivers, lakes, reservoirs, wetlands and groundwater wells.
- Combining the CBS with an EPS-50 bubble chamber reduces the influence of wave action and prevents unnecessary noise in your data.

Pressure Level Sensors
OTT Hydromet also offers several water level sensors for ground or surface water monitoring, each unique to the individual's measurement requirements. All of these instruments use vented pressure cell technology to test water bodies. Some can connect to external dataloggers, such as the OTT netDL 500 or 1000, for remote data acquisition, and others contain built-in dataloggers for a self-contained system.

OTT ecoLog Series: Self Contained Systems
- Complete, all in one systems: Both of the ecoLogs contain built-in dataloggers for remote data and alarm message transmission options via SMS, HTTP, FTP and e-mail, giving users flexible remote data access from their office.
- Ideal for continuous or real-time ground or surface water level monitoring of continuous water level networks, short term or long term projects, events, pump tests or landfill groundwater levels.

OTT CTD Sensor
- Conductivity, temperature and depth measurements are combined into a single device that easily installs in a 1” or larger well or conduit, and stores the data with a built-in datalogger with 4MB of memory (storage capacity for over 500,000 data points).
- Ideal for monitoring continuous water level networks, short-term or long-term projects, salt water intrusion, aquifer storage and recovery, estuaries and wetlands

- Pressure sensor with built-in data logger manages and stores pressure, depth to water, water level, and/or temperature measurements at programmable intervals. Pair the Orpheus Mini with the OTT ITC for remote data acquisition.
- High Performance: Mechanical resistance to pressure overload and corrosive waters

- The robust ceramic pressure cell offers industry-leading accuracy and does not deform over time like membrane technology, providing long-term measurement stability.
- Vented pressure probe, automatically compensates for changes in barometric pressure but requires use with external datalogger.
